Master Photographers Association
The Master Photographers Association is the UK's only trade body exclusively for full-time professional wedding, portrait and commercial photographers. Members qualify at one of three levels: Licentiate, Associateship and Fellowship (the highest). Just select the type of photographer that you wish to find on the menu to the right of this page, then the location and you will be presented with a list of qualified Master Photographers that match your search criteria. If you already know the name of the photographer, or the company name, you should click 'Advanced Search'. If you are looking for MPA wedding photographers in your town, then MPA has over 1,500 qualified photographers all over the UK and beyond.
Portrait promotion for members of the Armed Forces
Participating Master Photographers will provide a complimentary sitting and print for members of the Army, Navy or Royal Air Force.
Family Portrait Week
The
Master Photographers association is working with the Variety Club to raise
funds for underprivileged children. All donations of £25 or more to
the Variety Club will receive an e-voucher entitling them to a complimentary
Family Portrait sitting and a 7x5 inch mounted print. Donations can be made at any time until 14 September and you may take your sitting any time up to the end
of the year. What to do next: Make your donation to the
Variety Club at www.familyportraitweek.com.
You'll then receive an e-voucher for your Family Portrait to use with a Master
Photographer. You may purchase additional prints from the sitting if you

Who are the Master Photographers Association?
The MPA is the professional organisation for wedding, Portrait and Commercial Master Photographers. If you are
looking for a wedding, portrait
or commercial photographer
in your area, then one of our 1,800 fully qualified members will assure
you of the highest professional service. All qualified members adhere to
a strict Code of
Conduct and have undergone qualification to at least Licentiate standard. Established in 1952, the MPA is unique in that it only allows full-time professional photographers to remain in membership. Each must have undergone a rigorous assessment of their work - and only then do they appear in our Online Directory.
